With his many years of experience as a chef in restaurants, hotels and hospitals, Alex knows what it takes to inspire the entire kitchen team to save food. He has used his practical knowledge to develop the measures for the United Against Waste Food Save app. In combination with his knowledge of sustainable management, he brings effective solutions to the table. Alex sees potential in product innovation for a sustainable food industry without food waste: as a product developer at an international frozen food manufacturer, he further developed the product range with a focus on authenticity, innovation and food trends.
Alex is a trained chef with additional training as a diet chef and holds a CAS in Eco Economics from the PHW Private University of Applied Sciences in Bern.
